Filigree handcrafted pendant ‘Simplicity’ sterling and fine silver, flush set cubic zirconia

‘Simplicity’ is a gorgeous sterling and fine silver filigree pendant witha solitary cubic zirconia and complemented by a sterling silver twisted curb chain in 16 or 18 inch.
The pendant has a circular silver disc lightly textured with the simplicity of a flush set, champagne coloured cubic zirconia, all soldered onto a larger silver disc. Further silver filigree wires and granulation are shaped and soldered in place into the silver wire outer frame. The approx diameter is 1.5cm (not including the bail and jump ring measurement).
Your pendant will come gift boxed with an anti tarnish strip and small piece of polishing cloth.

All my filigree pieces are made completely from scratch from 100% recycled silver bought from reputable UK suppliers. Silver wire is twisted together and annealed a few times before being rolled out to form the recognisable shape of filigree strands. I then create a variety of shapes which are soldered inside the silver shaped frame. Sometimes silver granulated balls are added for detail and to also secure and strengthen the piece. I don’t always have the end design in my head when I start but try different shapes within the frame to see how they look first. The silver granulated balls are created by heating small pieces of fine silver until they melt and ‘ball up’. It can be like creating and fitting pieces of a puzzle together. A bail and jump ring are soldered in place and then the piece is burnished and polished by hand.
