Description
This lovely granulation pendant is designed and made completely from scratch. I use Argentium® silver (940) , a higher grade of silver than sterling silver (925) and create the silver balls by melting small pieces of silver. These are then fused together and soldered within the outer frame. A bail and jump ring are added and finally tiny pieces of 24k gold foil are also fused onto one of the balls (keum boo). The pendant and twisted curb sterling silver chain is presented in a gift box, to give as a thoughtful gift or to treat yourself! Perfect for everyday wear or for a special occasion.
The approx measurement of this pendant is 15mm x 8mm
Fusing is a technique when the materials to be joined together are heated to a temperature so they become one permanent item.
Argentium® is known to be more tarnish resistant
All of my jewellery is hand designed and created by myself within my workroom, on the edge of Dartmoor Devon. During the forming process there can be evidence of workmanship and no two items are identical. These are not faults but make each piece unique unlike anything mass produced.
